****For the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) renewal course you will need the the following class items below or you may purchase one when you arrive for class.****
There is a Pre-course assessment that is required for all students taking the ACLS & PALS courses. Pre-course work and assessments must be completed and certificates should be provided to training site prior to taking the actual course. Please see below

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Is ACLS the right course for me?
ACLS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
What does this course teach?
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
ACLS Required Precourse Assessment
This Precourse assessment is required for all students taking the ACLS & PALS courses. Precourse work and assessments must be completed and certificates should be provided to training site prior to taking the actual course.

How Long Does CPR Certification Last?
CPR certification lasts two years. Your certification card is valid until the end of the month in which the card was issued. Once those two years are up, you must take a renewal course.
I already have a manual, Can I use my own?
You may use a current copy of the course provider manual. If you do not have one you may purchase one on our website or from our office on the day of your class.
When will I receive my certification card?
Your card will be issued the same day you take our course!
Who will teach my course?
One of our certified American Heart Association Instructors who also have backgrounds in healthcare and military instruction.
